units. Constitute groups of people that work cooperatively towards the achievement

and countries,

1.4. VIRTUAL ORGANISATIONS
The world of business and the Information systems have changed and so the way people work all over the world. The new advances in technology have dramatically changed the way individuals share information across time and space. Traditional organizational structures have been centered primarily around location-specific activities and face-to-face communication. But traditional structures have become obsolete and less efficient as companies that adopt the location-independent model respond more rapidly to market changes. The workplace is moving from a centralized to a distributed environment. The boundaries of the traditional office are being left behind and the world of business is moving toward a new era of working. Virtual Enterprises allow employees, employers and organizations to work more effectively and flexibly.
